September 2018-April 2019
Toured North Carolina with the North Carolina Dance Festival as part of their 2018/2019 Season. Showing the solo monster in Greensboro, Durham, and Asheville. Now preparing for Charlotte’s Boom Festival April 26-28 (http://boomcharlotte.org).
Showed a new version of boundaries as part of RAW at the Fruit in Durham. Shared the evening with some talented NC-based choreographer/performer peers (Renay Aumiller, Murielle Elizeon, Tommy Noonan, and Matthew Young) and had a really informed and (I can’t myself) “fruitful” performance. I shared my Budapest movement research at The Performance Garage in Philadelphia amidst an amazing group of Philadelphia performers and choreographers (including Hungarian guest choreographers Kata Juhasz and Patrik Kelemen). The show (Danube/Schuykill) represented some of the ideas fostered by the Philadelphia Dance Projects Bilateral Exchange program.

I spent the month in residence in Budapest, Hungary with Jung Woong Kim as part of Philadelphia’s Bilateral Exchange Program. Started working on a project I called Boundary and performed at the Trafo Theater. I wrote an article about my experience here: http://thinkingdance.net/articles/2018/02/18/4/Postcards-from-My-Selves-in-Budapest/
Recently, I went back home to choreograph on Raleigh's multi-generational dance company, The Rainbow Dance Company. My mom was in my piece! Check out the blurb here:http://www.artsnownc.com/rainbow-dance-company-takes-new-approach-37th-annual-spring-concert/
Graffito Works (the improvisational group I perform with) was in the news check it out here:
Here is a small write up for the festival where my partner, Les, and I showed love-joy diver in Bulgaria. Plovdiv is an awesome place to visit!
